STAGE MALTA: Back to the Roots

We plan to go outdoors, and watch shows in the streets! Following a competition for outdoor activities, we have designed a series of events for the youngest and adult spectators, and for families. These will feature juggling, comedy, a touch of nostalgia and many vivid colours. The events will be brought to you by, among others, Fundacja Sztukmistrze, The Trick Brothers, Circus Ferus, Interdyscyplinarna Grupa Teatralna – Asocjacja 2006, Kamil Dziliński, Michał Fetler, Kamil Małecki, Ewa Szawłowska, Monika Polaczek-Przestrzelska, and Marcin Lemiszewski.

GENERATOR MALTA: Ground Possessed

What connects people with Earth and what kind of relationships will Earth still allow? Curator Joanna Pańczak and a group of artists will focus on these questions during this year’s Generator Malta. Ground Possessed will feature projects created especially for the programme by Maria Dutkiewicz and Karolina Wajma, Edka Jarząb and Kolektyw Uskoki, Anna Kędziora, Luca Spano, Karolina Szczypek, Oriol Fuster Cabrera, Paula Kaniewska, make LARMO (Paulina Woźniczka and Weronika Krupa) and new visions (Margaret Amaka Ohia-Nowak and Agnieszka Bułacik). Their final residencies will be presented in Ola Korbańska and Iwo Borkowicz’s installation/fortress titled Nic nie znika, jedynie zmienia miejsce (Nothing disappears. It just changes places). Starting from May, a field group of young people will creatively run a course on urban leisure (Kurs Miejskiego Relaksu) at the family allotment gardens in the Winiary area of Poznań. The outcomes of their work will be shown at an exhibition in June. We will also visit other areas, taking you on a sentimental journey to Krzesiny and to Głuszyn.
