Last year, when Malta turned 30, Poznań’s Skowronki Girls’ Choir celebrated its 70th anniversary. Together, Malta and Skowronki are 100 years old! What Happens When the Woman Takes Power is a meeting of different voices: colours, dynamics and interpretations; a meeting of generations: maturity and youth, memories and hopes; a meeting of different female perspectives: thoughts, dreams, fears and plans. Put together, all these energies will turn into a performative concert merging the repertoires of Karolina Czarnecka and Skowronki.
