The book includes interviews with the artist and his collaborators – an artist-fetish, a dramatist, a choreographer, a dancer – all of whom share their observations, feelings, experiences from working with Fabre as a director. The volume also features a rehearsal diary written by the author of the book, who followed the process of rehearsals for the play “Parrots and Guinea Pigs” directed by Jan Fabre.
