Nothing Disappears, It Just Changes Place. When you see a heap of sand you often don’t see the pit which it came from several hundred kilometres away. All things have their pit, their resource and origin. The object/fortress raised from the soil in Wieniawski Park is a reflection on the circulation of matter, its constant movement. The installation is situated on an area cut from public space. The brutality of this act exposes the anthropocentric rules of the game and the way we perceive earth as an infinite resource. On the one hand, the project is an independent artistic project created for the Malta Festival Poznań 2021, and on the other, the site of the finale of the Generator Malta programme Zaklepane / Ground Rules.
